A watercolor portrait is one of the most personal and lasting gifts you can give — or keep. Whether you're commemorating a child, a beloved pet, a family milestone, or someone you've lost, Aki brings her meticulous, layered technique and genuine warmth to every commission.

How It Works

Commissioning a portrait is a collaborative process. You share your favorite photos, we discuss the size, composition, and any special details that matter to you, and Aki gets to work. Along the way, you'll receive an in-progress photo for your approval before the final piece is completed.

• Turnaround: 1.5 to 4 weeks depending on complexity

• Reference photos: High-resolution, in-focus images work best — Aki will guide you on what to look for

• Subjects: Portraits of adults, children, animals, or groups — single subjects and families welcome

Pricing

Pricing varies based on the size of the painting, number of subjects, complexity of the background, clothing and accessories, and whether hands are included. Please reach out for a custom quote — most commissions start in the range of $500 to $600.
